Baked chiffon cake again, please bear with me as there will be more coming. This attempt was not a very good one as the cake was slightly compact at the top. Though the cake was very moist but a bit too sweet and heavy for my liking. Not the type of chiffon that I preferred.

Hi edith,

haha I'm crazy over chiffon baking recently. This evening I just baked a Pandan chiffon. Quick go grab some eggs and start making one too.

Hi wen, do u know why the cake compact? I also have the same problem. It rise up so tall in the oven. After baking a while, the cake start to shrink n centre a bit sink. Resulted the top pt of the chiffon a bit compact. U know the reason? Pls advise. Thks.

Hi Can,

I think is the recipe problem... probably the yogurt content is too much.
