Da Chang

7th Apr 2010

A very yummy and satisfying work lunch with 3 colleagues at Da Chang. A treat from one of them who strike a consolation prize in 4D. Da Chang is located at Blk 630 Bedok Reservoir market. This market has lots of nice food where we will pay a visit at least twice a month. We love their dishes very much especially the stir fry fish head. They also sell fish and seafood soup, fried fish beehoon, pork knuckles, braised tau ki & tau kuah. We ordered 3 dishes to share and we really enjoyed the food. Probably we were very hungry that day so seem liked everythings were exceptionally delicious.

Braised Pork Knuckles

The pork knuckle was very meaty and tender. The "lor" was good too, very fragrant and rich!

Fried Fish Head with Bittergoud

Fish head was chopped into thick chunks and deep fried, then stir fry with bittergoud in black bean sauce. Very flavourful and as good as those from zi char stall. Full of wok hei.

Chap Chye

Though it looks rather plain and boring but you will be surprise it's so tasty. A nice side dish to go with the pork knuckles or fish soup.
